There’s nothing like cooking the traditional Thanksgiving spread for family and friends but, for empty-nesters, travelers and singles not going home for the holidays, it’s nice to know there are options! If you’re looking to hit the easy button this year, here are our top 10 Westside restaurants serving Thanksgiving dinner. Most of these recommend making reservations well in advance to ensure seating.
FIG: Chef Ray Garcia is serving up Thanksgiving family-style with dishes like piloncillo and chipotle brined Mary’s turkey. Meals begin at 12, 3 and 6 p.m. and cost $69 per person. 101 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica; 310-319-3111; figsantamonica.com.

JiRaffe: At $72 per person, JiRaffe will serve a three-course prix fixe that includes dishes like pancetta-wrapped sea scallops, Dungeness crab cakes, bouillabaisse and roast turkey. Supplemental sides and an amuse-bouche are offered for an extra charge. 502 Santa Monica Blvd., Santa Monica; 310-917-6671; jirafferestaurant.com.

Mélisse: Chef Josiah Citrin’s three-course prix-fixe menu includes a wide selection of starters and entrees. For the first course, options include traditional pumpkin soup or Maine lobster ravioli and for your entree, opt for the herb roasted free-range turkey with chanterelle mushrooms, apple and brioche stuffing and pomegranate gravy or the vegetarian-friendly portabella mushroom with radicchio and burrata “steak” with autumn herb jus. The hardest choice? Deciding on three sides made from Chef Josiah’s mother’s traditional Thanksgiving recipes—options include creamed spinach and praline pecan yams. End the meal on a sweet note with a slice of “Mom’s Apple Pie,” pecan pie or spiced pumpkin pie.
