Slater 50/50′s September burger of the month, the ‘Roo, consists of 50% ground kangaroo and 50% ground bacon topped with melted brie, thick cut bacon, huckleberry ketchup and crushed macadamia ricotta. All of this resting on a bed of baby greens and radish slices, served on a honey wheat bun.

Slater’s 50/50 was founded by Scott Slater and Executive Chef Brad Lyons and are most known for their famous 50/50 Burger – 50% ground bacon and 50% ground beef.

Put this on the list of weekend adventures because sadly the closest location is the one in Pasadena. Don’t forget it’s the burger of the month so no guarantee it will stay on menus past September.
